9/11 - LESSON PLANNING

This lecture focused on lesson planning as it is always important, but is essential when teaching very young children as this age group requires a wide variety of short activities. As teachers, we need some tips to follow a perfect lesson planning, like thinking about the main topic of the lesson and what you want to achieve or thinking about the way the whole lesson works. It is very important to make visuals, regardless of whether you draw well or badly. Teacher Maribel told us several things and we had to draw them to see our creativity. In addition, she also showed us videos in which they teach you step by step how to make drawings.

Other very good resources are limericks, chants, rhymes and songs. The whole class wrote a Limerick and it was very funny. Stories are also important for young children on many levels. In class, we read a story between several students playing each animal with its respective voice, since drama is essential to teach children.
